Whats New this Week ---
Just got back from the lovely ATL -- where I participated in a...err.....event (to say the least). It was supposed to be a cipher but some old heads with a birthday party debo'd the party and held the DJ captive. *shrugs* what can you do right? I met some super awesome folks down there as always though, and I'm sure it wont be long till I got my butt back in the A.
In case you aint notice....I've been tweeting and facebooking for weeks now about the visuals that are long overdue and forthcoming. Hang in there -- the video for "Gen X" ft. Uptown XO is on the muther*#@$^**n WAY! It's about time too.....but yea, I got my dude Bart "Spielberg" Johnson editing all the awesome footage he shot with his super power camera.
In other news, I will be returning to SXSW again! I am coordinating a stage with DC's own SmCity that will include enough backpack, hipster, conscious, antidisestablishmentarianism hip hop heads to fill out a J. Dilla tribute concert 5 times over again. So....BE THERE if you are gonna be at SXSW or effectively killurself for missing out. I can't leak the line-up yet though *coughs PhilektahZooKooliojasDaytonnorSee*
ps. Please tell your favorite hip hop bloggys that you wanna see me on their stage down there. Supply + Demand works wonders for a young gals career.
